Joyful Connections is a live online Bible study designed for people at different stages of faith and spiritual exploration. Whether you are just beginning, actively seeking, or ready to go deeper, this study offers a thoughtful and welcoming place to learn, reflect, and grow.

Beginning in mid-September, Joyful Connections will meet weekly via Zoom, launching with three separate one-hour sessions. Each group is designed around a different level of engagement, so participants can join the session that best fits where they are in their journey.

At the center of Joyful Connections is a simple conviction: purpose begins with listening. Scripture is not meant to remain distant, abstract, or locked in the past. It is living truth, and when we approach it with openness, honesty, and faith, it begins to shape how we see God, ourselves, and the life we are called to live.

The first 10-week study series will focus on The Rhythm of Creation—a guided journey through the seven days of creation and the deeper themes of order, identity, purpose, blessing, and spiritual formation. This is not simply a study of beginnings. It is an invitation to see how God brings meaning out of chaos, clarity out of confusion, and purpose out of what seems unfinished.

New to the Bible, or coming back to it after time away? This session is built for you. Nothing is assumed here, not familiarity with Scripture, not a particular way of praying, not even certainty about what you believe yet. Each week, a passage gets walked through slowly and plainly, with room to ask the kind of questions people are sometimes embarrassed to ask out loud. There is no pressure to have an answer ready. Just come and listen. 

Something has already shifted for you. Maybe it was a hard year, a conversation that stuck, or a question that would not leave you alone. The Seeker Session is built around that kind of moment, when curiosity about faith has turned into something more active. Expect real back-and-forth here. The group holds space for honest questions and does not rush toward tidy conclusions, because most of the questions worth asking do not have tidy answers. ment.

This group is for people who want to sit with the text longer, not just read it. Expect the conversation to go past the surface of the passage into what it actually asks of a person's life, and expect other participants to push back, add context, or take an idea somewhere you had not considered. If you already have some footing in Scripture and want a place to think out loud with others doing the same, this is the room. 

Joyful Connections will begin with three separate one-hour Zoom sessions each week:

• Wednesday — Seeker Session
• Friday — Inquirer Session

Each week, all three groups will share the same core biblical theme and anchor passage, but the depth, pacing, and level of discussion will be shaped to fit the specific session type. This creates one shared journey with three distinct paths of engagement.

Participants in Joyful Connections can expect:

The opening Joyful Connections series will be a 10-week study through the creation account, exploring how God forms order, meaning, and life with intention. Themes will include light, distinction, fruitfulness, sacred timing, identity, calling, and rest.

This series is designed to help participants see creation not only as the beginning of the biblical story, but as a living pattern for spiritual formation and purposeful living now.

Attendance will be limited to preserve the quality of the experience and keep each session focused and personal.
